**COVID-19 FAQs information**

The spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in our region, across the country, and around the world is undoubtedly causing concern for you, your family, and your community. I want you to know that at Advance Savings, the well-being of our members, staff, and community is our top priority.

Current State of Emergency

Advance Savings has been deemed an essential service during the current State of Emergency. During this time, we're open, but our doors remain locked. The health and safety of our members, staff and visitors is our top priority. During the State of Emergency, our doors will remain locked to reduce the amount of people in our branches at any given time.

To ensure the health and well-being of our staff and our members, members experiencing flu-like symptoms or those who have recently traveled outside of the province will not be able to use our in-branch services. Please contact us by phone at (506) 855-ASCU, or email at administration@advancesavings.ca and we'd be happy to help with your banking needs.

Helping with your finances.

Advance Savings will do everything reasonable to serve our members through any financial challenges due to COVID-19.  Our personal and business members facing any financial hardship are encouraged to contact us directly to discuss options that could be available, such as payment deferral for mortgages and the opportunity for payment relief on other credit union products.

Collabria Credit Card Support

 
If you are experiencing any financial hardship due to the impacts of COVID-19, and are worried about your Collabria credit card payment please call the Collabria Contact Centre at 1-855-341-4643 and Collabria will work with you to discuss how they may be able to help you.  For more information on your Collabria credit card and COVID-19, click here.

Multiple convenient banking services.

During this time, our members still have several convenient ways to access their banking services when, where and how they want:

  • Online through MemberDirect;
  • Through your Smartphone using our Mobile App;
  • Telephone banking;
  • Mobile cheque deposit using our Mobile App;
  • Ding Free ATM Network; or,
  • In-branch.

In-branch banking.

Advance Savings is taking extra steps to keep you and our employees safe at your branch.  We are cleaning the branches daily including sanitizing door handles, ATMs, and reception areas.  Hand sanitizers are also available for member and employee use.

Effective, Saturday, March 21, 2020, our branches will no longer be open during extended hours.  For your convenience, our branches hours are listen below:

Protect yourself from fraud.

Unfortunately, scammers will try to take advantage of situations like this. Please remember that we will never send you unsolicited emails asking for personal identification such as passwords, PINs, social insurance number, credit card, or account information. Advance Savings wants you to know that we take the safety and security of your information seriously. If you ever receive an email that appears to be from someone at our branch, please call (506) 855-ASCU or send us an email administration@advancesavings.ca to confirm whether the email is legitimate before responding.
